Ivory Sky Design specialises in luxury, handmade wedding invitations and stationery. Our products include 'save the date' cards and invitations, as well as 'On the Day' stationery - order of service, place cards, table names, favour boxes, menu's and table plans. 

We also can provide 'On the Day' items, such as an original white cast iron royal mail box, as well as silver and cream candelabra's.

When should I order my stationery?

As soon as possible please! 

Invitations should be sent to your guests about 6 to 9 months in advance of your wedding day, (depending on whether it is peak season and whether you have sent 'Save the Date' cards) and I require approximately 8 weeks to complete your stationery once payment is received. 

For the 'On the Day' stationery, you are required to place this at the same time as your invitations so that I can schedule your order into the diary and allocate appropriate time to make them. We can finalise numbers nearer the time when all the RSVPs have been returned. You will receive your 'On the Day' items 4 weeks before your big day.

Example: if your wedding is in August, I would suggest posting your invitations in January and getting in contact with Ivory Sky Design in October. However if you would like to send 'Save The Date' cards, then invitations can go out a little later.

How do I order samples?

I highly recommend ordering a sample so that you can fully appreciate the quality and elegance of the stationery - if you can't decide, then order more than one! 

Once you have chosen your favourite design (you will need to pay for the sample however this will be refunded once you place your order), I will personalise your invitation with the font and wording that you wish to use and any other amendments that you would like ie ribbon colour and/or embellishment change. 

Your samples will then be sent for your approval.

Do the invitations come in other colours?

The beauty of bespoke stationery is that the options are endless. Let me know your colour theme so that this can be added to your stationery - embellishments can also be changed (this may alter the price slightly). 

How much stationery will I need? 

Generally for invitations, you will need 1 per household, however I would suggest that you order about 10% extra, just in case you make a few mistakes. For place names & favour boxes, you will need 1 per person. With Menu's you may wish to either place a couple on each table or individually place them on your guests napkins. For Order of Service, I would suggest either 1 per person or every other person.

Can I choose a different font and wording?

I have included the most popular selection of fonts and wording for you to choose from. Once you have chosen your font and wording, I can include this in your sample. 

How do I place my order?

1. When you have received your sample, we can make any amendments that you require.

2. Once you have approved your invitations, you will need to decide on quantities. 'On the Day' stationery can be altered at a later date, so I would suggest under estimating so that you can increase the amount, once you have final numbers. 

3. Full payment is required for all stationery. Payment can be made via cheque or bank transfer. Once payment is made, your work can be scheduled into the diary. 

Can I have my stationery in another language?

Yes of course, simply send me the relevant wording.

Can you print my guests' names onto my invitations?

Yes of course, we do offer this service and there is a small charge of 25p per invitation. If you would like to write the names yourselves, then I will simply leave an area blank or a dotted line for you to write the names.

Can you print my guests' addresses on the envelopes?

We do offer this service and there is a small charge of 25p per envelope.

Is postage included in the price?

Postage is not included in the cost of your stationery, as this depends on the size of the package. 

What is your refund policy?

Should you wish to cancel your order, refunds can be offered within 24 hours of making your payment and you will receive a full refund. Thereafter no refund can be made as materials for your stationery would have been purchased and your work scheduled into the diary. Should your wedding be postponed, Ivory Sky Design can honour any order placed for up to 12 months from the original wedding date.
